• Exclusive Operational License: Missy Mey Snail Mail, its underlying characters, story world, illustrations, logos, digital downloads, and physical mailers (collectively, the "IP Material") are operated and distributed internationally under exclusive operational license by Lizban Ltd.
  
  

• Proprietary Ownership: All root intellectual property rights, trademarks, and copyright in the IP Material remain the sole property of the Licensors (Paddy Mac Books (Pty) Ltd] and Rebecca Murray).
  
  

• Personal Use Only: Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and read the derivative stories, letters, and materials for household use. You may not copy, scan, redistribute, re-sell, derivative-create, or commercially exploit any material provided by the Club.
  
  

• Recurring Billing: By purchasing a recurring subscription plan (Monthly, Quarterly, or Annual) through our Systeme.io checkout, you explicitly authorize Lizban Ltd to automatically charge your designated payment method at the beginning of each billing cycle until cancelled.
  
  

• Payment Processing: All transactions are processed securely via third-party PCI-compliant gateways (Stripe / PayPal / Payfast). Lizban Ltd does not store raw credit card numbers on its servers.
  
  

• Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription fees upon thirty (30) days' notice via email or notice posted on our checkout platform. Continued use of the subscription after a price modification constitutes acceptance.

• Standard Monthly Cutoff (5th of the Month): To receive the current month’s physical mailer, your subscription order must be placed on or before the 5th of that month at 23:59 UTC.
  
  

• Orders Placed After the 5th: If you subscribe on or after the 6th of any month (e.g., subscribing on November 10th), your initial payment secures the following month's mailer (e.g., December's mailer). You will NOT receive the current month's mailer, as physical print production is already locked.
  
  

• Founding Launch Exception (October 2026 Only): For our launch month (October 2026) only, new orders will remain open until October 10th at 23:59 UTC to receive the founding October mailer. Starting in November 2026, the strict 5th-of-the-month cutoff applies permanently.
  
  

• Fulfillment & Dispatch Window (6th–15th): Between the 6th and 15th of every month, we enter print, packing, and posting mode. All physical mailers for an active cycle are dispatched by the 15th of the month. Shipping timelines provided at checkout are estimates; we are not responsible for delays caused by local postal carriers or customs processing.
  
  

• Address Updates: Address changes must be submitted by emailing hello@missymey.com before the 5th of the month to take effect for that month's dispatch.
  
  

• International Customs, Duties & Import Charges: All physical mailers are shipped internationally from our designated fulfillment centers. You are solely responsible for any local import duties, VAT, customs fees, or handling charges levied by your country's postal or customs authorities. We are not liable for postal delivery delays, holds, or rejections caused by local customs inspections, postal strikes, or international border disruptions.

Because physical mailers are custom-printed and packed immediately following each cutoff:

• Cancelling Auto-Renewal: You may cancel your subscription renewal at any time by clicking "Manage Subscription" in your receipt emails or by emailing hello@missymey.com
  
  

• Effect of Cancellation on Paid Orders: If you sign up after the cutoff date (e.g. November 10th for December's mailer) and cancel your subscription on November 20th, you will still receive the December mailer you paid for on November 10th. Your cancellation simply prevents your payment method from being charged again on December 5th for the January cycle.
  
  

• No Refunds for Paid Cycles: Payments already processed for an upcoming or active mailer cycle cannot be refunded or cancelled once processed, as custom print allocations are finalized upon payment.
  
  

• EU/UK Consumer Right of Withdrawal: UK/EU Statutory Cooling-Off Rights: Under UK and EU consumer legislation, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-printed periodics, tailored mailers, or digital content delivered upon purchase. Because our physical mailers are printed to order based on active subscriber numbers, you expressly agree that fulfillment begins immediately upon payment confirmation. By subscribing, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal and that payments for an upcoming print cycle are non-refundable once processed.

• IP Ownership Jurisdiction: All underlying legal claims relating strictly to the ownership, copyright validity, or baseline intellectual property rights of the IP Material shall be governed by the laws of South Africa.
  
  

• Primary Jurisdiction (E-Commerce Operations): All customer relationships, online orders, billing matters, and subscription agreements are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
  
  

• Customer Support First: In the event of any billing issue or delivery dispute, you agree to contact our support team at hello@missymey.com prior to initiating any bank chargeback or formal claim.
  
  
  

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lizban Ltd, its directors, officers, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of your subscription, postal shipping delays, or use of the website or materials.
